Choose Your AI! The Royalty expansion adds the Empire pootling around space, a load of toffs with expensive tastes, courtly traditions, and some real nice weapons. AI in games has come very far, and RimWorld is one of the proofs. The AI is your trusty storyteller, and each story is a unique and thrilling experience that involves psychology, ecology, climate, diplomacy, biomes, and a whole bunch of other factors into consideration! For example, a scientist will be able to do research, however, he might be unpleasantly unsocial, while a businessman can deal with any verbal exchange in the world, but by no means will he get his hands dirty! Every storm and every attack is a planned out attempt to alter your plans! The game has a strong modding community behind it, so there are hundreds upon hundreds of ways to entertain yourself for days! At the very start of each game, you only control three survivors, which can be of any profession, race, gender, and status – that will also direct their behaviour towards one another as well as towards their surrounding environment. You can choose from three distinct AI personalities; Randy Random goes with the unpredictable, Cassandra Classic goes for an increasingly more difficult approach, and Phoebe Chillax will keep you relatively at ease.
